Marie is a young woman born into a wealthy family in Dakar. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she finds herself homeless and left to fend for herself. Her unexpected encounter with Momo, a young man from a poor family in Thiaroye, will transform her entire existence and introduce her to a new world: the world of working-class neighborhoods, where survival is a constant struggle.
