Overview

The Rantanen family leaves their old lives behind to take over the Gyllene Orren hotel in rural Östra Glesbygden. But they soon discover they have been deceived⁠—⁠a newly built motorway has diverted guests to the Grossman family's new hotel, leaving Gyllene Orren on the brink of bankruptcy.
