Overview

Virgínia is a wicked, ambitious young woman capable of aborting her child, stealing her own fiancé⁠—⁠Ricardo⁠—⁠and then spurning him to live with another man, João. Blinded by his love for Virgínia, Ricardo takes his own life, leaving his brother, Demétrio, in despair; Demétrio returns from abroad to seek revenge.
