Overview
A fantastical comedy that takes place in ancient times. In an attempt to protect his daughter after a sly old woman tells him that she will be kidnapped and murdered, the governor sends his daughter, Laila, away. But when she grows up, the princess comes home, and trouble follows in her wake.

In the second season, the events follow Hemdan's relationship with Princess Laila, whom he asks for her hand in marriage, whereupon her father, the governor, is forced to agree to their marriage on the condition that Hemdan is hired in the palace so that there would not be a social gap between them.
