The Last Role of Charles LeBlanc

A young drifter goes to work for an aging movie legend and learns the hard way that great actors never stop acting.

Overview

Charles LeBlanc is a legendary movie star in his twilight years. A young drifter, Luke Harkins, is hired as his new groundskeeper. Coincidentally, Luke bears an uncanny resemblance to Charles' best friend and perennial co-star, the late Stuart Benedict. Luke soon discovers that Charles believes that he and Stuart are about to begin shooting their 1951 film noir classic "Gangsters Don't Go To Heaven."
